The Hamilton Community Center offers a nice place to play pickleball indoors. Three hard courts feature permanent lines, but you’ll need to bring a portable net.

No reservations are required for this public facility in San Antonio, with amenities including bathrooms, water fountains, and lighting.

Chicken N Pickle 

Chicken N Pickle - San Antonio

Chicken N Pickle is an innovative way to enjoy pickleball in a social setting. With a similar setup to Top Golf, guests can reserve courts by the hour. 

A chef-driven menu and an excellent selection of local craft beer make Chicken N Pickle more than just another San Antonio pickleball court. This indoor/outdoor venue is a great spot to have fun with friends or host an event.

Life Time In San Antonio

Lifetime Fitness of San Antonio is a large facility with tons of amenities, so it’s no surprise pickleball courts are included! Multiple indoor courts are open for members with a family or single membership to reserve for private play. There are also open playtimes to connect with other players, pickleball lessons, and on-site equipment rentals at no added cost.

Oak Haven park is a public park with one outdoor pickleball court. The court is actually painted inside a tennis court, so the court serves a dual purpose. There’s no light or shading around the court.

Blossom Park

Two tennis courts are painted to double as pickleball courts at Blossom Park. This public park has been updated in recent years, but it doesn’t seem any of the upgrade budgets went to the pickleball or tennis courts. These outdoor courts aren’t the most accurately painted, but it’s good enough for casual play and running drills.

Fairchild Recreational Center

The Fairchild Recreational Center is a community center that provides a variety of activities for all ages. Among those is pickleball! Twelve courts are free to the public, with easy access to bathrooms and water fountains. This free community center is a great spot to work on your pickleball skills with accurate, reliable courts.

Beyster Windcrest Tennis and Pickleball Center

Beyster Windcrest Tennis and Pickleball Center

Beyster Windcrest Tennis and Pickleball Center is open to the public, but you’ll have to pay a fee to reserve court time. These courts are popular with bookings up to a week in advance. Two of the three pickleball courts are lit for nighttime play.

Emmitt Park

Emmitt Park is a relatively new park that opened in 2019 and is sponsored by Community Bible church. The courts are completely free, with no reservation required! Guests are asked to share the courts on a first come, first serve basis with a 1-hour time limit. Emmitt Park is open to the public with a splash pad, picnic areas, and more.
