Cesar Chavez Community Center



Cesar Chavez Community Center is one of Albuquerque’s most popular places to play pickleball indoors. It has two courts with permanent pickleball lines, and you can bring your court equipment or use a portable net available at the center.
Enthusiasts can play pickleball in the morning from Monday to Friday. Afternoon availability on Tuesday only.
Community membership is required to access the courts, but memberships are free for all age groups. More information is available from the City of Albuquerque or directly at the center.

Los Duranes Community Center



Los Duranes Community Center is a newly renovated facility offering various programs and amenities for all ages.
The full-size gymnasium is equipped for various sports, including pickleball. There are two indoor courts with portable nets (available) and lines marked in metric and imperial units, but the pickleball program is adult-only.
Lessons provided by coach Sky Grant are free and suitable for beginners but limited to six participants. Hours may vary during official holidays.

Don Newton – Taylor Ranch Community Center



Similar to Los Duranes, the Don Newton – Taylor Ranch Community Center offers pickleball classes as an adult program. However, youths 12 years and older are also welcome to join.
Classes are free, but the courts are shared with other sports. The center offers pickleball open houses each week, in the evening on Monday or in the morning on Wednesday and Friday. This makes it easy to fit your pickleball training around your schedule.

Los Volcanes Senior Center

Seniors who like pickleball or just want to find a new, fun way of staying active can take advantage of the pickleball courts at Los Volcanes Senior Center.
Like the community centers, this facility is managed by the City of Albuquerque, with classes available for those who want to learn what a home jump left is – and the other ins and outs of pickleball and its leagues.
Accessing the facility and pickleball courts is free. The sports and fitness center is open from Monday to Saturday.

Boys And Girls Club Of Central New Mexico

The perfect choice for young players, the Boys and Girls Club of Central New Mexico offers low to no-cost programs for youth between five and 18 years old.
The club has two indoor pickleball courts with permanent lines. Portable nets are also available. Membership is required to access the ABQ pickleball club courts.

Outdoor Courts
Manzano Mesa Pickleball Complex


Manzano Mesa is home to one of the two dedicated pickleball complexes in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Six of the 18 outdoor courts are lighted and perfect for nighttime play.
Summer pickleball classes are also available for youth and adult beginners, as well as adult intermediates.
All courts are free to use except for special events and tournaments. Reservations can be made through the City of Albuquerque’s Parks & Recreation Sports Office.

Villela Park Pickleball Complex

The second dedicated pickleball complex in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the one at Villela Park. Like Manzano Mesa, this complex is managed by the City of Albuquerque, meaning that all courts are free to the public.
It has six courts available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The maximum play time is limited to an hour and a half when others are waiting, the same as Manzano Mesa. This complex features a prime location with ample parking and access to public facilities like restrooms.

Paradise Hills Community Center

The Paradise Hills Community Center is a good choice for those who want to play outdoors but be able to move indoors if the weather changes.
This center has seven courts, four outdoors and three indoors. Like the other community centers, pickleball classes are available for adults, but youths 12 years and above are welcome to join. All lines are permanent, but you’ll have to bring your own net.

Ventana Ranch Park boasts 12 hard surface pickleball courts ideal for players of all levels. They are free to access any day of the week, but playtime can be limited if people are waiting.
