USAPA Pickleball Tournaments

Los Angeles Championships 

The Los Angeles Championships are a sanctioned MMP event sponsored by PrimeLending.com. It will be held at Courtside Pickleball in Irvine, CA, from August 3rd – August 7th. The event is open to players over the age of 8 and will use a Round Robin format. $5 of each player’s $60 registration fee will be donated to the SAFE Foundation, working to prevent violence and homelessness.

2022 Surf City Pickleball Tournament  

Murdy Community Park in Huntington Beach, CA, will host the 2022 Surf City Tournament from August 5th – August 7th. This event is open to players aged eight and up with a valid USAPA membership. The double-elimination format will keep things moving, so everyone gets plenty of time on the court. A $70 non-refundable registration fee and USAPA membership are required.

NP West Coast Classic 

The NP West Coast Classic is scheduled for August 5th – August 7th in Oakley, CA, at Diamond Hills Sports Club. This is a sanctioned MMP event, and USAPA membership is required. Registration details are unavailable online, but the event organizer can be contacted directly at 310-904-9554.

8th Annual California State Games  

2022 marks the 8th annual California State Games. It will be held at Coronado Island Marriott Resort and Spa from September 23rd – 25th. There is a steep $90 registration fee to compete in the sanctioned MMP tournament, but each registered player receives a free t-shirt. USA Pickleball membership is required.

Margaritaville 2022 USA Pickleball National Championships 

The USA Pickleball National Championships are a major event to watch as a pickleball fan and player. The USA Pickleball National Championships are returning from November 5th to 13th at Wells Tennis Garden near Palm Springs, CA. This massive venue features 28 pickleball courts, a championship court, and a permanent 8,000-seat stadium. 

Players must compete in at least one USA Pickleball-sanctioned event between June 28th, 2021, and September 11th, 2022, to qualify for the USA Pickleball National Championships. The USA Pickleball national championships are a major event with stricter rules than other events. View the details of registering for this event on the USA Pickleball national championship site. 

CVGPP at The Springs Country Club 

The Springs Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA, will host the Coachella Valley Grand Prix Pickleball Tournament in 2022! The event begins on November 4th and ends on November 6th. This is a sanctioned MMP tournament. Outdoor courts will provide a great view of the country club for a scenic tournament that will fly by. USA Pickleball membership is required.

The Open at Newport Beach  

The Open at Newport Beach will be hosted at Newport Beach Tennis Club. The venue features 48 permanent pickleball courts! This is an amateur-sanctioned MMP event. The Open will take place November 17th – 20th with a Franklin X-40 game ball. This specialized venue is used for some of the largest tennis and pickleball events in the country, so there’s plenty of spectator seating on-site.

NP Palm Desert Amateur Open  

The NP Palm Desert Amateur open is an exciting opportunity for amateurs to compete with $10,000 in prize money up for grabs! The Palm Desert Resort Tennis and Pickleball Country Club in Palm Desert, CA, will host the amateur open from October 28th – 30th. A $70 registration fee will reserve your spot in this sanctioned MMP event and a free t-shirt! USA Pickleball membership is required.

Jolly Jamboree  

Templeton Tennis Ranch in Templeton, CA, will host the Jolly Jamboree from December 2nd – 4th. A $60 registration fee will reserve your spot. The tournament will be played on outdoor courts with a Franklin X-40 ball. Current USA Pickleball membership required. 

Idaho State Championships  

The Idaho State Championships tournament will be held at Hobble Creek Park from August 30th to September 4th. A $55 registration fee applies to all players in this sanctioned MMP event. A Franklin X-40 will be the primary game ball on outdoor courts. Register by August 25th to reserve your spot! USA pickleball membership is required. 

Rally in the Valley 

The Rally in the Valley tournament will be held at Albany Pickleball Courts in Albany, OR. The tournament is scheduled for August 25th – 28th, with a $60 registration fee for players. Pickleball pros Wes Gabrielsen and Erik Lange will be hosting the event live! This is one of only 2 sanctioned MMP tournaments in Oregon. USA Pickleball membership is required.

Park City Summer Classic  

The Park City Summer Classic will be held at Willow Creek Park in Park City, UT, from August 4th – August 6th. This sanctioned MMP event will have 12 pickleball courts, 2 of which have spectator seating. A $40 registration fee reserves your spot to play and includes free sun sleeves! USA pickleball membership is required.

Sanctioned Slam  

Club Pickleball USA in OREM, UT, will host the Sanctioned Slam from August 4th – August 6th. The 15-court facility will provide a fast-moving tournament with a double-elimination format. This tournament will bring the best players from Utah and surrounding states! A $20 registration fee is required for all players. USA pickleball membership is required.

Fall Brawl  

The Fall Brawl in St. George, UT, will be held at Valley Pickleball Complex on October 4th – 8th. Registration is open to players aged ten and up for $60. A Franklin X-40 ball will be used on outdoor concrete courts. Each registration includes a free Fall Brawl hoodie! USA Pickleball membership is required.

Huntsman World Senior Games 

The Huntsman World Senior Games is a sanctioned MMP event for players aged 50 and up. It will be held at Little Valley and Sun River Courts in St. George, UT, October 10th – 15th. A Franklin X-40 game ball will be used on concrete pickleball courts. Put your pickleball game to the test with other players in your age group! USA Pickleball membership is required.

Legacy Indoor Championship  

Legacy Pickleball is hosting an indoor tournament with a Round Robin format on August 5th at Bell Bank Park in Mesa, AZ. A $25 registration fee can reserve your spot to compete in this tournament for players with a 3.0 – 4.5 skill rating. The event will take place from 8 AM to 4 PM using indoor courts. USAPA membership required.

The Prescott Lakes Senior Tournament

This senior tournament is open to players aged 50 and up. The tournament will occur August 19th – 21st at the Club at Prescott Lakes. This gorgeous setting provides the perfect view while on the pickleball court. It is a sanctioned MMP event with a $60 registration fee for all players. Register before August 6th to reserve your spot! USA Pickleball membership is required.

Surprise Cup presented by Armour Pickleball  

Surprise Pickleball Courts in Suprise, AZ, will host the Surprise Cup from September 30th – October 3rd. Players must be at least 19 years of age and pay a $65 registration fee. The sanctioned MMP tournament will be played outdoors with an Onix Dura Fast 40 ball. USA Pickleball membership is required.

Picklin’ for a Cure  

2022 marks the 2nd annual Picklin’ for a Cure event. The tournament will be held at Morris K Udall Park in Tuscon, AZ, October 14th – 16th. This is a great way to use your pickleball skills competitively and support a great cause at the same time! Proceeds from the tournament will support finding a cure for RSDSA and ALS. USA Pickleball membership is required.

Voyager Holiday Tournament  

Voyage RV Resort in Tuscon, AZ, is hosting the Voyager Holiday Tournament from December 1st – 4th. Franklin Pickleball is sponsoring the event, and a Franklin X-40 will be the game ball. A $40 registration fee is required to compete in this sanctioned MMP tournament. Players will be separated based on both age and skill level. Current USA Pickleball membership required.

APP Prescott Pickleball Open  

Prescott, AZ, is another stop for the APP 2022 tour. Espire Sports will host the tournament from December 8th – 11th. This USA Pickleball-sanctioned MMP event will use a DuraFast 40 ball. APP is known for having the best pickleball tournaments around, and the Prescott Open will be no exception.

Legacy Championships 

Bell Bank Park in Mesa, AZ, will host the Legacy Championships amateur event on December 16th – 18th. Players age eight and up with a skill level of 5.5 or lower can register to compete for $70. Since this is a sanctioned MMP event, a valid USA Pickleball membership is required. $25,000 in prize money is up for grabs at the Legacy Championships by Legacy Sports USA!

Duel in the Las Vegas Desert – Nevada 

If you’ve always dreamed of your very own duel in the desert like an old western film, the Pickleball Complex at Sunset Regional Park in Las Vegas, NV, is the place to be! A sanctioned MMP tournament is scheduled for December 15th – 18th. A $45 registration fee will reserve your spot to compete and a free t-shirt! USA pickleball membership is required.

NP Mile High Classic   

The NP Mile High Classic will be held at Apex Recreation Center in Arvada, CO, from August 26th – 28th. A $70 registration fee is required to reserve your spot. Each registered player receives a free t-shirt! The tournament will be played outdoors with an Onix Dura Fast 40 ball. The NP Mile High Classic is a sanctioned MMP event. USA pickleball membership is required.

Southwest Organ Mountains Open  

The Southwest Organ Mountains Open will be held October 21st – 23rd at Apodaca Park in Las Cruces, NM. Friends and family of players are encouraged to register to volunteer for the event! Players aged 12 and up are welcome to register for a $65 fee.

This sanctioned MMP event will be played outdoors. USA Pickleball membership is required. 

Mansfield Summer Slam  

Fieldhouse USA in Mansfield, TX, is hosting the 2022 Mansfield Summer Slam on August 6th and 7th. The sanctioned event will be played on indoor courts. Players 10 and older are eligible to compete, although registration is currently closed. Spectators are welcome!

APP Chicken N Pickle Next Gen 

The 2022 APP Chicken N Pickle Next Gen Tournament in San Antonio, Texas, is sponsored by Franklin Pickleball and Head Pickleball. The event is open to players aged 10 to 23. The goal of this tournament is to encourage young pickleball players to show off their skills in a competitive environment. If you’ve never competed in an APP tournament before, this is a great way to get started! 

Alamo Summer Slam 

The Alamo Summer Slam is scheduled to take place August 19th – 21st at Fairchild Tennis Center in San Antonio, Texas. 10 outdoor courts will be used for the tournament with Franklin X-40 balls. A $40 registration fee is charged to all players. Reserve your spot for this sanctioned MMP tournament before it’s too late! USA pickleball membership is required.

Bay Area Racquet Club Fall Open  

The Bay Area Racquet Club Fall Open is a one-day tournament on August 27th. This Houston, Texas tournament is sanctioned and has a $45 registration fee. Registration is open to players aged eight and up until August 15th. USA pickleball membership is required. 

Aggieland Dink for Pink  

Aggieland Dink for Pink is a sanctioned MMP event kicking off breast cancer awareness month! The tournament will be held at Omar Smith Instructional Tennis Facility in College Station, Texas, on October 14th – 16th. The tournament will use a Franklin X-40 ball. Players will use a round-robin format for a fast-paced and fun tournament!

A registration fee of $60 is required, but proceeds will be donated to numerous breast cancer awareness organizations. USA pickleball membership is required.

APP Housten Open  

Houston Memorial Park Tennis Center will host the Houston Open, a stop on the 2022 APP Tour from October 19th – 23rd. The Houston Open is a sanctioned MMP event with $60k in prize money. USA Pickleball and Head Pickleball sponsor the APP Tour. USA Pickleball membership is required. 

Pickleball Hall of Fame Championships  

The pickleball hall of fame championships will be held at Dreamland in Dripping Springs, TX. The event is scheduled for October 28th – 30th, and it is a sanctioned MMP tournament. A Franklin X-40 ball will be the game ball. USA Pickleball membership is required. 

2022 Founders Tournament 

The 2022 Founders TOurnament in Bainbridge Island, PA, will be held at Battle Point Park from August 10th – August 14th. Players aged 12 and up are invited to compete in this sanctioned MMP tournament! A $75 registration fee and USA pickleball membership are required. 

2022 Gamma Pickleball Classic 

The 2022 Gamma Pickleball Classic powered by UPMC Health Plan has $30,000 in prize money up for grabs! The event will be held at David L Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA, from August 5th – August 7th. A $70 registration fee is required to compete in this sanctioned MMP tournament scheduled to be live-streamed.

APP 2022 Philidelphia Open 

The APP tour stops in Philadelphia from August 25th to August 28th. The Philidelphia open will b beheld at Upper Main Line YMCA in Berwyn, PA. APP tournaments are highly competitive and great for pushing your game to the next level. This is a sanctioned MMP event, and all players need a USA pickleball membership.

Mercer Bucks Pickleball Club Fall Classic  

This fall classic tournament will be held at Mercer Bucks Pickleball Club in Ewing, NJ, on October 21st – 23rd. The Mercer Bucks Pickleball Club features nine indoor courts perfect for tournament play. This sanctioned MMP tournament will include prize money, although the exact amount isn’t public yet. All players must pay a $60 registration fee to compete. USA Pickleball membership is required. 

APP 2022 New Jersey Pickleball Open 

Veterans Park in Hamilton, NJ, will host the APP New Jersey Open from August 10th – August 14th. USAPA membership required. The New Jersey open is expected to bring some of the best USA Pickleball players to New Jersey and surrounding states for fierce competition. The USA Pickleball-sanctioned MMP event is part of the official APP 2022 tour.

Senior Games of Delaware  

The senior games of Delaware are the only USA Pickleball sanctioned MMP tournament in Delaware! This event is open to players aged 50 and up. A Franklin X – 26 ball will be used on indoor courts. All players must pay a $25 registration fee. USA pickleball membership is required. 

APP Sunmed Alabama Classic 

The APP tour stops in Opelika, AL, for the Sunmed Alabama Classic from October 6th to 9th. Players age ten and up are invited to compete for $35,000 in prize money at this sanctioned MMP tournament. A $75 registration fee is charged to reserve your spot. USA Pickleball membership is required.

Matrix Fall Pickleball Classic 

Matrix Racquet Club in Lowell, AR, will host its fall pickleball classic on October 21st – 23rd. This sanctioned MMP event opens for registration on September 1st with a $65 fee. The tournament is open to all ages. Players will be paired on skill level and age to keep games fair. USA Pickleball membership is required.

World Pickleball Open 

The world pickleball open is scheduled for November 17th – 20th at Palm Beach Gardens Tennis and Pickleball Center. A $70 registration fee is required to compete. The tournament features a $25,000 prize! Test your skills in this sanctioned MMP event, and you might even win some money. USA pickleball membership is required.

American Pickleball Sanibel Island 

Sundial Resort Beach & Spa is hosting the American Pickleball tournament on Sanibel Island. The tournament begins on November 18th and ends on November 20th. The tournament will be played outdoors with a Franklin X-40 ball. A $70 registration fee reserves your spot to play and comes with a free t-shirt and goody bag! USA Pickleball membership is required.

Naples Fun Festival 

The Naples Fun Festival is a senior tournament for players aged 50 and up. It will be held at the Naples Pickleball Center, also known as the pickleball capital of the world! The tournament will take place December 1st – 4th, and a Franklin X-40 will be the game ball. This is a sanctioned MMP tournament. USA pickleball membership is required. 

NP St. Louis Gateway Classic  

The NP St. Louis Gateway Classic will be held August 19th – 21st at Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, MO. A $65 registration fee will reserve your spot to compete in this sanctioned MMP event. Outdoor courts and an Onix Dura Fast 40 ball will be used. USA pickleball membership is required.

APP Next Gen Kansas City 

The APP tour makes a stop in Kansas City for a tournament at Chicken n’ Pickle on November 18th – 20th. This sanctioned MMP event will use a Franklin X-40 as the game ball. APP tours are known for being well-organized, popular, and great events to participate in! USA Pickleball membership is required.

Discover Columbus Pickleball Tournament 2022  

2022 discover Columbus tournament will be held at Donner Park in Columbus, IN. The tournament is scheduled for September 16th – 18th. A $40 registration fee will reserve your spot to compete on outdoor courts, divided by skill level. Seniors aged 60 and up can compete in seniors-only games on Friday too!

2022 Legends 5th Annual Dink, Dink, Bang!

2022 marks the 5th year for the annual Dink, Dink, Bang tournament. The tournament will be held at Winchester Country Club in Winchester, VA. Players must be at least 11 years old to register. A $45 registration fee applies, but each player will receive a $5 cafe voucher during the tournament. This is a sanctioned MMP event. USA pickleball membership is required.

2022 USA Pickleball Mid-Atlantic Diamond Regional 

Myrtle beach will be flooded with pickleball fans from September 21st – 25th for this sanctioned tournament. It will be held at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center with indoor courts. Players age 14 and up are welcome to register to reserve their spot to compete. You can also register to volunteer for the event!

Pickleball Battle at the Bridge 

Pickleball Battle at the Bridge at Bridge Sports Complex in Bridgeport, WV, is scheduled for October 8th – 9th. The tournament will be played on indoor courts using a Round Robin format for optimal court time. Players must be at least 16 to register for this sanctioned MMP event. A $45 registration fee applies to all players. USA pickleball membership is required.

APP Hilton Head Open  

The Hilton Head Open is part of the 2022 APP tour. It will be held at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis and Pickleball Center in Hilton Head, SC, from October 26 – 30th. This sanctioned MMP event has $60,000 in prize money up for grabs! USA Pickleball membership is required.
