NP Windy City Classic
The Windy City Classic is a two-day sanctioned tournament held at Danny Cunniff Park in Highland Park, IL. This tournament is open to players aged eight and up with a $65 registration fee. Players will compete outdoors on a concrete court.

Registration closes July 8th, so get your name on the roster while you can!

2nd Annual Dixon Tourney

Dixon, IL is hosting the 2nd Annual Dixon Tourney at the Terry Nicholas Pickleball Complex in 2022. Players will use outdoor courts with an asphalt base. There is no minimum age requirement to compete.
A $25 registration fee makes this tournament an excellent option for beginners looking to experience their first tournament! This is an unsanctioned event, so the atmosphere is slightly more relaxed than in other tournaments.
Registration ends on 07/08/22.

2022 Moco Summer Classic

The 2022 Moco Summer Classic will be held at Central Park in Hillsboro, Illinois. This unsanctioned tournament has open registration for all ages until July 15th.
Players will compete on outdoor courts with concrete using an Onix DuraFast 40 ball. With just 31 players currently registered for the tournament, it’s expected to be a relatively small event.
The $30 registration fee can be paid easily online using PayPal.

5th Annual Robinson Pickleball Tournament

Robinson, IL, is hosting its 5th Annual Pickleball Tournament at Robinson City Park.
Registration is open until 07/20/22 for interested players. A $30 registration fee is required for all players competing in the unsanctioned tournament. Concrete outdoor pickleball courts are used.

PB Jammers 2022

Fabrini Park in Hoffman Estates, IL, will host the PB Jammers 2022 pickleball tournament. Players must be 12 years old to compete in the unsanctioned tournament.
Online registration has closed, but players can still reserve their spots by contacting the event host directly. It costs $45 to register for this outdoor tournament.

SALUKI Open

Early registration for the SALUKI Open at Southern Illinois University is open now! Early registration is open until 08/01/22. Players who register before that deadline can enjoy a $10 cheaper registration fee of just $45.
If you register after August 1st, it costs $55. Players 12 and older can compete in this unsanctioned tournament. It’s scheduled to be an outdoor event, but there are nine indoor courts available in the event of inclement weather.

APP Chicago Open

This is one of the largest Illinois pickleball tournaments because it has $50k in prize money up for grabs! Players aged ten and up have until August 17th to register.
Registration costs $75, which includes a free swag bag. If you register before August 10th, you get a t-shirt too! Outdoor concrete courts are used for this sanctioned event at Danny Cunniff Park in Highland Park, IL.

Quad Cities Classic 2022

The Quad Cities Classic 2022 tournament will be held at Riverside Park in Moline, IL.
This unsanctioned tournament is open to players ten and up. Registration for ages 10-17 is $20, while it costs $40 for players 18 and up. The Quad Cities Classic is an outdoor event with asphalt pickleball courts.

2022 Halloween Havoc

The Black Diamond Pickleball Complex at Ray Fosse Park in Marion, IL, is hosting a Halloween-themed pickleball tournament this October.
Registration is open for all ages until October 15th. Each player who pays a $40 registration fee will also receive a free event T-shirt! The ghoulish pickleball fun is unsanctioned and set to be played on outdoor asphalt courts with a neon green ball.

There’s not yet a comprehensive schedule for this year, but new dates for Illinois tournaments should start coming out in full force during the next couple of months. We are keeping an eye out and will update this post as we have new information. In the meantime, if there’s a specific tournament you’re interested in, we suggest contacting them directly for scheduling information.
