6th Annual Gainseville Indoor Pickleball Showcase
08/04-08/06/2023 – Alachua County Sports & Event Center at Celebration Pointe. Alachua, FL, United States
The 6th Annual Gainseville Indoor Pickleball Showcase will be held at Alachua County Sports and Event Center in Alachua, FL, on August 4th – 6th.
The tournament will have divisions for all ages and skill levels, will be run round-robin style, and medals will be given to first, second, and third place for each division.
Tournament registration includes a T-shirt and is discounted if you register by September. The proceeds of the tournament benefit elder care programs in Alachua County.
Central Florida Tournaments
2023 NP Daytona Beach Classic
11/03-11/05/2023 – Pictona at Holly Hill, Holly Hill, FL, United States
The NP Daytona Beach Classic will be hosted in Holly Hill, Florida, in 2023. The tournament will take place from November 3rd to the 5th, with registration open until October 27th, 2023. It costs $70 to register, and the tournament is open to all players aged 8 and up. Matches will begin at 8 AM each day of the tournament, but exact bracket start times won’t be available until registration has closed.
American Pickleball Tour Winter Haven 2023
08/12 – 08/13/2023 – American Pickleball Tour, Winter Haven, FL, United States
The American Pickleball Tour is coming to Winter Haven, FL, in August 2023. The two-day event is open to players ages 14 to 60+. Each $50 registration includes play on multiple courts with three levels of medals per bracket. Registered players will also receive a swag bag and visor.
This is an event that’s fun-focused with games, best-dressed prizes, and more.
2023 USA Pickleball Diamond Amateur Championship
12/03-12/10/2023 – Pictona, Holly Hill, FL, United States
2023 is expected to be a big year for the USA Diamond Amateur Championship. It takes place at Pictona at Holly Hill, December 3rd through 10th.
This is a USA Pickleball-sanctioned event and is the culmination of twelve regional championships. Gold medalists from the Diamond Amateur Championship will get pre-registration tickets to next year’s USA Pickleball National Championship.
A round-robin format followed by a double-elimination championship will be used in each bracket to allow for more players. Unlike some of the more informal tournaments on this list, this one offers a high level of play for pickleball players starting at eight years old.
South Florida Tournaments
World Pickleball Classic
10/12 – 10/15/2023 Palm Beach Gardens Tennis and Pickleball Center, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, United States
The World Pickleball Classic is taking place from October 12th to 15th at the Palm Beach Gardens Tennis and Pickleball Center.
Players will be divided by skill level and age group. This is a USA Pickleball MMP Sanctioned event, so USA Pickleball Membership is required. An Onix Dura Fast 40 will be the game ball.
Engine 11 Pickleball Tournament
08/05/2023 – Country Club of Coral Spring, Coral Springs, FL, United States
The Engine 11 Pickleball Tournament is a tournament hosted by a First Responder-based tournament company. The 1-day tournament is open to everyone. It will be held on an outdoor court and costs $55 to register.
Additional South Florida Tournaments

Is there a magazine published about pickleball?

There are a couple of pickleball magazines that we know of. “Pickleball Magazine” is published seven times a year, with six bi-monthly issues and one special issue. The other pickleball magazine that we’re most familiar with is “In Pickleball.” This magazine is published ten times a year with monthly issues, but January/February and July/August are combined into single issues.
I,m looking to enter my first PB tournament but not sure where I should look. Im 72 and have been playing PB for about 9 months but as an x tennis/racquet ball player I can generally hold my own.
