Bartlesville Pickleball Tournament

The Bartlesville Pickleball Fall Classic is a fall pickleball event hosted less than an hour from Tulsa! Players from varying age groups and skill levels are invited to compete in the Bartlesville Pickleball Tournament for the chance to win medals and some major bragging rights.

Tournament Format

The Bartlesville Fall Classic will be played using a double elimination and/or round-robin format during tournament play. 

Event coordinators may change the format based on the number of players in each age level and skill.

Ages

This classic pickleball tournament is open to players aged 12 and up.

Skill Levels

Skill levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 can register for competition events. Skill ratings are based on the player or team’s current UTPR. If a UTPR isn’t available, a self-rating may be accepted.

Three or more teams at one skill level are considered an event.

Schedule

The first tournament event is scheduled for Friday, October 14th. Men’s and women’s singles and 50/50 mixed doubles are scheduled to occur concurrently. Unfortunately, this means players can’t register for both events.

Saturday, October 15th, will host the men’s and women’s doubles event.

Sunday, October 16th, is the final tournament day, with the mixed doubles event on the schedule.

The Bartlesville Pickleball Fall Classic will be held at the Hillcrest Country Club Tennis Complex in Bartlesville, OK.

Bartlesville is located in northeastern Oklahoma, a 2-3 hour drive from Oklahoma City.

Date

The tournament will begin on October 14th and end on October 16th.

Prizes

Medals will be awarded to whoever is lucky enough to win at the Bartlesville Pickleball Fall Classic. There is no cash prize offered for this event.

Registration Deadlines & Requirements

Registration Deadline

Registration for the Bartlesville Fall Classic opened on June 15th, 2022. The final registration deadline was October 4th, 2022.

One player could register as a single, or they can register with one other player to create a doubles team.

The player cancellation deadline was October 1st, 2022.

The tournament has similar registration dates in 2021, so you know when to keep a look out for next year!

Membership

All registered players must have an active USAPA membership as of October 17th, 2022.

Cost of Registration

All players are required to pay a $65 registration fee. 

Registration fees include a t-shirt, water, snacks, and lunch during the tournament.

Additional Info

Primary Ball

An Onix DuraFast Yellow 40 will be the primary ball.

Court

This tournament will be played on ten indoor pickleball courts. The courts are set up across three indoor tennis courts.

Sanctioning

This is a USA Pickleball MMP Sanctioned event. 

This means only legal USAPA Approved paddles are allowed, and all USAPA rules apply during matches.

The 50/50 mixed doubles event is not sanctioned.

Accepted Payment Forms

Players registering online can do so at www.pickleballtournaments.com.

An online waiver signature will be taken, and registration numbers will be issued electronically.

Online payments are accepted via PayPal, which allows credit card payments.
